More- Making an independent animated movie with all the competition from Disney/Pixar and DreamWorks is not easy. Making it 3D even harder, but all you need is a good script. Some good shit to let them know wassup. subject matter that pushes the boundaries, a political message, something. Unfortunately this movie lacks all of the aforementioned and just falls flat, like a cheap Saturday morning cartoon that just goes on too long and hits all the right clichés, cos, if it does something right, that is it. Avoid.
- was alright but too predictable
- Not matter how pointless that segment was, this 3rd rate Mexican animation film did featured some lucha libre, so I was going to like that bit at least. Colorful, but poorly animated.

- There's some potential here - it's a pretty basic coming-of-age story, but those can be done well - but unfortunately, it's never really realized, and the end result is a movie that I wanted to like a lot more than I did.
- I think the animation is really poor, incomplete and lazy maybe. The renders don't really look nice, it reminds me of one of the first 3D animations of toys, Tin Toy. I think if they wanted to make it simple, maybe they should have rendered it as a cartoon... like a 2D style. The story is ok, a cliche journey to grow up and gain some kind of experience and power up to achieve your dreams. I think some of the characters are very funny! I loved that, kind of stereotype but I think it's ok. At times hilarious, it has some lines that are like national jokes. At least I had some fun with that.
- Hmm... Edward J Olmos produced, and the whole crew seems to have been Mexican or Mex-Amer, but the characters that speak Spanish more often, or have heavy accents, are all the bad guys. There's not much to like here, or much to dislike.Watchlust, June 2018: #47/58

- Another in the long line of bird animated films. It was OK, much better than I expected.
